conduct a psychological evaluation of the child or
adolescent. Based on what is diagnosed, we can
make recommendations for follow-up counseling or
psychotherapy as needed. We provide services on a
wide variety of issues, including the following:

COUNSELING AND PSYCHOTHERAPY

We can provide counseling for most of the problems detailed above. In some cases, the treatment is
best provided in another setting or by another agency or provider, such as your child's pediatrician. In
some cases, no treatment is needed. The evaluation alone provided the needed information. When
counseling is done, it typically involves both the parent and child or teenager, usually seen separately
but on the same visit. Often the main strategy is to help the parent learn ways they can help their child
help themselves. In the end, the parent is almost always going to be the child’s best therapist.
